Skip the Concession Lines at Legacy and Order Online

The Greenville Triumph and the Partake Pay app have partnered to offer fans mobile ordering at Legacy Early College field.

Beginning July 13, fans will be able to download the Partake Pay app to order and pay for food from Uptown Catering. The food will then be available to pick up at the mobile ordering catering tent behind the scoreboard. The menu will change match to match and offer a different selection than the traditional fare found at the stadium’s other concession stands.

Uptown Catering head chef, Chris Rosensteel, is currently the winner of Upstate Iron Caterer Kickoff and will compete in the Iron Caterer Championships on August 8.

The Triumph are back home at Legacy Early College on Saturday, July 13 to face off against Orlando City B. The first 2,000 fans through the gate will receive a free t-shirt. The pre-game Fan Fest begins at 5pm, gates open at 6pm and kickoff is at 7pm. Get your $10 general admission tickets today.

Following a month long road trip, the Greenville Triumph (4-5-5) are back home to face off against Orlando City B (3-9-4) on Saturday, July 13 at 7pm.

What to Watch For:

– Home Sweet Home: The Triumph are back home at Legacy Early College this weekend for the first time since June 15 when they took on Lansing Ignite. They finished the road trip 1-1-1, most recently drawing North Texas SC to a 0-0 draw.

– Multi-goal margin: The Triumph produced their only multi-goal margin (win or loss) match this season in the first meeting with Orlando, defeating them 2-0 on June 28. They look to produce a similar result and continue to climb the table to a playoff position.

– Oh Jaye Can You See: Triumph goalkeeper, Dallas Jaye, was named USL League One Player of the Week after shutting out North Texas. Jaye is currently 2nd in the league in least goals conceded and could climb to the top of the leaderboard with another clean sheet on Saturday.

Joe Everson to Perform National Anthem on July 20

On Saturday, July 20, the Greenville Triumph will welcome Upstate artist Joe Everson for a special performance of the National Anthem.

A talented musician and artist, Joe Everson is well known for his viral videos of him singing the National Anthem while painting. He has performed for the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks, University of Arkansas, San Antonio Spurs, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, and more. Everson’s performances have been featured on Fox, ESPN, CBS, and USA Today among many others.

Joe’s studio is located in Taylor’s Mill.

Triumph Launch New Mobile App

Greenville, SC – The Greenville Triumph have launched a new official team mobile app, available today for iOS and Android devices. The app, which is free to download in the iOS Store and Google Play, allows fans access to team news and information as well as the ability to purchase and manage tickets.

“We’re thrilled to unveil this app to our fan base and help deepen our fans’ connection with the club,” said Triumph Vice Chairman & Chief Brand Officer Doug Erwin. “Fan experience is very important to us, and we plan to not only use this app to help fans stay connected to the team away from matches, but use it on match day to increase fan interaction with mobile ticketing, team lineups, and real-time stats. We’re excited to get this app front of our fans and looking forward to building on to its foundation in the months and years to come.”

The app, designed in collaboration with FanThreeSixty and the USL, connects directly to Tickets.com and allows fans to purchase and manage their tickets in the app. Additionally, fans can use the app to view the latest team news, check rosters and league standings, and link directly to the team store.

FanThreeSixty, founded by owners and executives from Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City, has developed apps for teams and organizations in Major League Soccer, the United Soccer League, NCAA and motorsports among others.

Dallas Jaye earns USL League One Player of the Week Honors

For the first time this season, a Greenville Triumph player has been named USL League One Player of the Week.

Player of the Week, Dallas Jaye, recorded a three-save shutout as the Triumph became the first side to hold league-leader North Texas SC without a goal in a game this season in a 0-0 draw. With the result, Greenville also became the first side to claim points as the visitor to Toyota Stadium in League One this season.

Evan Lee was also named to the Team of the Week as he won 5 of 5 duels and recorded three interceptions, three recoveries and two clearances at Saturday’s draw in Texas.

The Triumph return to Greenville on Saturday, July 13, to take on Orlando City B at 7:00 pm at Legacy Early College Field. Triumph Earn Point Against First Place North Texas

Frisco, TX – The Greenville Triumph battled the Texas heat and a late kickoff to earn a point in a 0-0 draw against the first place North Texas SC.

Triumph goalkeeper Dallas Jaye, made several crucial saves to earn his sixth clean sheet of the season. At the start of the second half, Jaye made a kick save beauty to keep League One leading scorer Ronaldo Damus from getting on the score sheet. The Triumph are the only team to not concede a goal to the North Texas squad this season.

One of the best chances for Greenville came off of a corner kick from Christopher Bermudez to Evan Lee was able to get two good chances on target early in the second half. Greenville was able to hold strong and fend off a late push from North Texas to earn the point and finish the road trip with a draw.

“We kind of grew up tonight,” said Head Coach John Harkes. “We came out here and took it to them in the beginning. It went from ‘What about me?’ to ‘What about we?’ with a great team mentality tonight.”

On the heels of a 2-0 victory in Orlando, the Greenville Triumph (4-5-4) conclude a 3-match road trip Sunday night in Frisco, Texas as they take on first place North Texas SC (9-2-2) at 9:45 pm EST at Toyota Stadium.

What to Watch For:

– Multi-goal matches: The Triumph went over two months between their first multi-goal match of the season and their second, but have now scored twice in each of their last two matches. Can they go a perfect 3-for-3 on the road trip and score 2+ again against a North Texas club that’s allowed 17 goals on the season?

– Full-strength attack for North Texas?: North Texas players Ricardo Pepi and Ronaldo Damus are 1-2 in League One scoring, combining to net 16 goals so far. With FC Dallas playing an exhibition Sunday after noon, will Pepi and Damus be available for North Texas or will they be called in to duty with the first team?

– Shots: North Texas and Greenville are first and second in the league in shots, with North Texas averaging 14.9 per game and Greenville averaging 13.7. Dallas Jaye and Carlos Avilez will have to be on their toes all night in a match that should feature a lot of fireworks on Independence Day weekend.

Yoga on the Pitch

Join the Greenville Triumph for Yoga on the Pitch on Friday, July 12 at 7:00pm at Legacy Early College Field.

Each package is $20 and includes access to the Yoga on the Pitch event, one ticket to the July 13 match, a Greenville Triumph cooling towel, a discounted pint with our neighbors at Birds Fly South following Yoga on the Pitch on Friday evening, and a donation to The Missing Peace.

The session will be led by The Missing Peace founders and certified yoga instructors Claire Gutbrod and Emily Higgins.

The Missing Peace serves our community with the mission of building emotional connection between children with sensory processing disorder and autism spectrum disorder and their parents while experiencing the physical and mental benefits of yoga.

Can’t attend Saturday’s game but would still like to participate in Yoga on the Pitch? Your ticket will be donated to The Missing Peace! They will provide families with yoga mats, weighted blankets and lap pads, sensory integration tools, crash pads, pictures of the poses, etc. during classes and at home. Their hope is to make it possible for an underserved community to practice yoga in a way that brings families closer together.

Greenville Triumphant in First Meeting Against Orlando City B

Montverde, FL – It took almost 13 matches, but Triumph players, coaches and fans were finally able to rest easy as the club went up 2-0 late over Orlando City Bat Monteverde Academy to give them their first road win and their first match decided by more than a one goal margin.

The match started slowly, with both sides trading possession early without much attacking. A Chris Bermudez miss off the post was the best chance for Greenville until the 41st minute, when a flurry of passes and attempts in the box ended with Triumph forward and birthday boy Cameron Saul burying his first professional goal. Saul’s score gave the Triumph their first halftime lead of the season and helped run Orlando’s goals allowed to 25, the most in the league.

A narrow miss in the 62nd minute by Chris Bermudez on a curling left-footed cross that glanced off the post almost gave Greenville an elusive 2-goal lead. The Triumph sealed the match in the 83rd minute with another Greenville player scoring their first goal, as midfielder Carlos Gomez buried a shot over the OCB keeper to clinch the first road win and a crucial 3 points for the Triumph.

“It was a big moment for our growth to to be able to put a team away, especially on the road,” said head coach John Harkes. “We wanted to build on the multi-goal effort last week and improve on our tactical shape. We did that well tonight and it created some opportunities for some different guys to find the back of the net. I was very pleased at how the guys took what we worked on during the week and translated that to the field. It was a great three points that we hope to build on next Sunday against North Texas.”

The Triumph (4-5-4) conclude their 3-match road trip Sunday, July 6 against North Texas SC at 8:45 pm (9:45 pm EST). The match can be viewed on ESPN+. They return to Greenville Saturday, July 13th, to take on Orlando City B at 7:00 pm at Legacy Early College Field. Triumph Announce Partnership with Meals on Wheels of Greenville

The Greenville Triumph is pleased to announce their partnership with Meals on Wheels of Greenville. For over 50 years, Meals on Wheels has been serving the community by providing hot meals to homebound residents around the Upstate.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Triumph and have the team come on and support Meals on Wheels and the Greenville community by delivering routes each week,” said Muriel Taylor, Director of Volunteers and Community Engagement. “They are celebrating accomplishments and creating relationships with our clients, and we are thrilled to have them on board.”

The Triumph have been actively involved with Meals on Wheels since May, with players, coaches and team staff delivering meals each week to the homebound in the Upstate community.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for our players and team staff to have the ability to generate a positive impact in our community and to improve health by providing interaction and access to nutritious food,” said Megan Dotson, VP of Partnership Marketing and Community Relations. “We could not be more grateful to Meals on Wheels for all the work they do to make people’s and pet’s lives better each day.”

On Thursday, June 20, the Greenville Triumph hosted a Women’s World Cup watch party at Universal Joint, with proceeds from a halftime 50/50 raffle and a portion of happy hour sales donated back to Meals on Wheels.
