Greenville, SC (April 8, 2020) – As local communities continue to adapt to the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation, the Greenville Triumph Soccer Club has organized a club-specific relief effort to benefit Greenville County’s local response teams in partnership with the United Way of Greenville County.
Starting Thursday, April 9, and extending through Sunday, April 12th, the club will donate 100% of the profits of online merchandise sales to the United Way of Greenville County’s COVID-19 Community Relief Fund.
United Way of Greenville has rapidly assessed urgent needs within the county’s most vulnerable neighborhoods and is working with community leaders and local nonprofits to address basic needs including food, shelter and access to basic healthcare during this critical time.
“This is a challenging time for our community, and as a club, we want to be a part of the solution,” said Triumph president Chris Lewis. “In addition to trying to provide some lift to our small business partners who need it, we are committed to helping the larger Upstate community as a whole. Supporting the United Way of Greenville County and its COVID-19 Relief Fund is a tremendous opportunity for our club to aid our community’s emergence from this crisis.”
The Triumph online store, Shopwww.greenvilletriumph.com, features a number of new products for the 2020 season, including the club’s new blue third kit.
